Stephanie Innes, garden manager, showed off a bushel of dragon tongue beans — part of the harvest that staff and volunteers brought in on the Common Ground farm.

The farm flourishes on a flat piece of land down the hill from the school buildings and animal pens that formed the original centerpiece of learn-by-doing Common Ground High School in the shadow of West Rock.
