TEACHERS AND STUDENTS
Common Ground Students … By The Numbers
  • With just 150 students, every Common Ground student is pushed to excel.
  • Our students come from more than a dozen different middle schools in 10 different towns and cities – creating a genuinely diverse student body.
  • While some of our students enter below grade level in math and reading, 90% are accepted to college upon graduation.
Common Ground Teachers … By The Numbers
  • Common Ground has 10 full-time teachers, all certified, yielding a student to teacher ratio of 15:1.
  • The average Common Ground teacher has six years of teaching experience, and has been at Common Ground for 4 years.
  • Every teacher acts as an advisor for a group of 10-15 students, providing both academic guidance and help with college readiness.
