What is the Seal of Climate Literacy?
The Seal of Climate Literacy is a high school diploma and transcript endorsement that recognizes students who complete interdisciplinary coursework in climate science and execute a hands-on, community-based action project. It validates student readiness for modern civic and green career paths.
CGHS Makes History
On Thursday, June 25, 2026, eleven of Common Ground High School’s seniors became Connecticut’s first students to earn a Seal of Environmental & Climate Literacy on their high school diplomas.
