Events at Common Ground
You are welcome here. This is your place.
This is Common Ground’s public events calendar and we look forward to you joining us on campus and in the community.
Common Ground is open to the public every Saturday, 10 AM - 2 PM, between the start of April and end of November. We also welcome community members to join us at our community programs.
Common Ground welcomes visitors to come to campus and learn more about our work. If you are interested in scheduling a visit to Common Ground, contact Briona “Bri” Jenkins, Director of Development and Communications at briona.jenkins@nhep.com.
Seedling Sale
Every year in May we host one of the farm’s largest access, income generating and community building opportunities!
We grow over $20,000 worth of seedlings that we sell at affordable pricing to new and experienced gardeners and urban farmers in the New Haven area. We aim to provide standard vegetables, herbs and flowers, but also ones that are culturally specific to the diverse population of our community. For example, bitter melon, seasoning peppers (like aji dulce and Grenada), lemongrass, callaloo, collards, cilantro, napa cabbage and more.
